New Play – Eye of the Beholder
Work in Progress
I’m currently developing Eye of the Beholder, an immersive theatre piece exploring memory, lineage, and the intimate stories of three generations of women from an immigrant family.
Blending theatre, song, and movement, the work unfolds in a participatory format where the audience becomes part of the story.
It delves into the transmission from mother to daughter, the traces of displacement and migration, through simple gestures — preparing tea, kneading bread, telling a story — everyday rituals that become a theatre of intimacy and remembrance.

A few days later, I’ll join the College of Extraordinary Experiences Alumni Reunion in Amsterdam, reconnecting with a community of amazing creators exploring new forms of experience design.

This residency will focus on site-responsive experimentation with voice, movement and sound, exploring how women’s narratives of memory and migration resonate within different cultural contexts.
The research will culminate in an open studio presentation in Aizpute before continuing its journey across Europe.

Throughout the week, with 10 other women from diverse backgrounds, we shared memories, voices, and gestures that culminated in a participatory performance open to the public.
