The Reception
COLLECTIVE EXHIBITION AND PERFORMANCE
Curated as a single-night event, this project brought together three artists across performance, sculpture, and visual art.
The artist Tais Bean offered a series of intimate, one-on-one performances, shaped as ritualistic vocal encounters.
Throughout the apartment, guests encountered the organic, sensual sculptures of Florian Mermin
and a series of extravagant, defiant oil painting portraits by Sorrel Mocchia di Coggiola.
The event was conceived and facilitated in collaboration with the Master’s students in Arts and Society from Utrecht University, as part of their research into alternative modes of exhibition-making, hospitality, and embodied curation.
