Hidden Under the Sand

SECRET ART INSTALLATION IN A SAND QUARRY

Hidden Under the Sand  wassite-specific art installation set in an abandoned sand quarry south of Paris,
exploring the idea of trespassing, and the spirit of discovery.

Each artwork became a hidden treasure to be discovered, activating a sense of wonder, slowness, and attention.
The exhibition explored how contemporary art can be experienced outside institutional settings, inviting emotional and intuitive connections in an unpredictable, off-limits environment. Curated for a single evening and shaped by the constraints of the land itself, the project became a reflection on impermanence, presence, and the silent intimacy between viewer, space, and art.
